Welcome to the High Country Homestead. I’m Susan, a single Mum farming 167+ acres in the Highlands of Northeast Victoria. With cattle, sheep and chickens; gardens, long days and wide horizons. Self-sufficiency isn’t a hobby here; it’s how we live. I grow food, raise animals, cook from scratch and share the real rhythm of life on the land, the work, the beauty and everything in between. I’m a farmer who writes, publishing in two newspapers which I share on Buy Me a Coffee. 📍LIVES each week (AEST) • Tuesday at 0930 - A Farm Day, where we say Hello to the animals and look at the views! • Thursday at 1330 - In the Garden, from pruning to sorting seeds. • Every 2nd Saturday at 0930 - Around the Kitchen Table An indoor day, everything from doing dishes to baking and preserves. Alternate Saturdays - LONGFORM VIDEO (or an extra kitchen table live). We follow the seasons as they unfold - the work, the setbacks, the laughter, and the simple, stubborn hope that keeps a homestead alive.
