Welcome! 👋🏻🎩 I'm michaelsongs, an original singer-songwriter from the states. I do several livestreams a month: weekly Sunday Sets at 12p eastern, in-person shows, plus many guest appearances - be sure to Subscribe to get notified, and join live to Chat! Born & raised in New Jersey, I started writing songs as a teenager, & then taught myself a variety of instruments: first guitar, then bass, and then I took up drums when I’d saved enough money to buy a drum set. Throughout my teens and twenties, I performed live with several bands in venues around the South Jersey / Philly area. I then began running sound at gigs for my own bands, and soon, I was doing sound for other bands and festivals up and down the USA’s east coast. This is where I met my wife, maria (she was managing a touring band and hired me to be their sound guy - a role I held for the next decade).
