Eph. 5:2 - “And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.” We all have an eternal, innate human value that can't be striped by society. The universe wasn't formed from nothing, but someone outside of space and time, God. And this God, took a human form while holding divine power as Jesus Christ, a true historical figure, living perfectly. We all make mistakes, and have dehumanized ourselves or others, lying, cursing, being racist, etc. We can't be good enough for a perfect being, especially when it comes to the afterlife. It separates us from God, because we are hurting his creation. Yet Jesus was crucified for being perfect and going against the hyper-religious, but still forgave everyone, including you and me for our rebellion against God. He did it because he loves us. When you believe and put your faith in Him, you receive that forgiveness and be clean when you repent, turn away, from those sins. That is the Good News.
